Wiltshire Family Garden

A re-design of an existing garden to respond to a new series of house extensions.  The house had been modified, and areas which were once 'back of house' were now brought to central focus with the new functions of rooms.   The garden needed to work as a series of spaces in response to these changes, in order that there could be a greater sense of connection in how the family wanted to live and use the garden.

The proposals create clear spaces that respond to the house, and look to use planting to introduce a sense of greater depth in the garden, as well as focus key views from the house.   Elements for play, vegetable growing and family meals have all been woven within the scheme so that each area has something to offer.
