New Fishing Centre in Greenbelt setting
Working alongside architects Waind Gohill + Potter new landscape proposals were developed to help integrate their new fishing lodge at Farlows Lake, a highly regarded angling site nestled in the heart of the Colne Valley.
The building has a contemporary, yet natural feel, sympathetically integrated into the landscape. Landscape proposals have sought to enhance this approach and make the most of the place, minimising the impact of roads and parking. New planted bunds and carefully focused drifts of tree planting help bed the building in its lakeside setting, a new cafe deck allows for enhanced views of the water.
