Notting Hill Family Garden

A new garden to accompany a complete town house refurbishment.  The brief was to reveal the space in the garden (a shaded jungle of overgrown shrubs) + create a garden which struck a balance between wanting a garden with plants for the grown ups + lawn space for the kids.

The landscape proposals successfully integrate the protected apple tree and use a beech hedge to create a back drop to the garden unifying the boundaries.    The garden design creates distinct areas, linking different levels via generous wide steps allowing clear views from the house to the garden + good spaces for playing + eating with friends.
